If you don't have a jeweler nearby or a suitable ring on hand, then measure your ring size directly on your finger. Make sure to measure the finger on the correct hand, where you intend to wear the ring. For measuring, use either a tape measure or cut a strip of paper approximately 0.5 x 10cm. Wrap the tape measure or strip snugly around your finger so that it can still be turned slightly. Then read the circumference from the tape measure, or mark the spot and measure the paper strip with a ruler.
