Back to the roots – or rather, back to the trees: This idea was at the origin of Bentwood.
The Challenge
Ordinary wooden rings are usually not very durable. In November 2015, I took on this challenge and began developing my own special process for creating high-quality and long-lasting wooden rings. Together with my business partner and thanks to numerous supporters, we were able to perfect this process. The combination with precious metals and diamonds further elevates the quality of our wooden rings to a new level.
We still handcraft all our rings individually at our workshops in Lohn SH and Ostermundingen BE. All presses, machines, and tools we use have been developed by us or modified to meet our specific requirements. You will certainly recognize the unique charm of our small workshop in your ring.

Our Wood Rings – Swiss Quality That Lasts
Bentwood rings are awarded the «Swiss Label». Over 99% of the value creation for Bentwood rings takes place in Switzerland, meaning the rings are primarily made in Switzerland using Swiss raw materials. Additionally, Bentwood will soon receive a patent for its unique manufacturing process for wood rings, which ensures the products' durability.

Can elegant and delicate rings truly be made from wood?
Absolutely! Thanks to the fine layers of wood, we can create delicate and narrow designs that resemble classic metal rings.
Do wood rings absorb water during daily wear?
No worries. Thanks to our unique manufacturing process, our rings can be worn without issue while washing hands, showering, or doing dishes. Our wood rings are also perfectly fine to wear in the sea, sauna, steam bath, indoor pool, or a mountain lake.
I have to disinfect my hands daily. Will the ring withstand this?
Don't worry, our rings are treated with a resin that won't be damaged by even the strongest disinfectant, nail polish remover, or cleaning thinner.
Can I wear the ring while working as a craftsman?
Wood is a durable material! Our wooden rings can be worn while working on a construction site, in a workshop, or on a farm. These rings are suitable for everyday life – whether you're using a shovel, keyboard, scalpel, or hammer. However, always prioritize your safety and consider whether it would be better to remove all jewelry in certain situations.
Does the ring require frequent maintenance?

These rings are suitable for everyday life – whether you're using a shovel, keyboard, scalpel, or hammer. However, always prioritize your safety and consider whether it would be better to remove all jewelry in certain situations.
Can the ring's size be changed after it's finished?
We always look to the future. That's why all our wooden rings are designed with the option to change their size later on. Whether you need it larger or smaller, it's not a problem.
